Join us as we explore some of the most beautiful and culturally rich regions of Portugal on a carefully planned 13-day adventure through Porto, Lisbon, Sintra, and the Algarve Coast.
This is not a large commercial tour. This is a small-group hosted travel experience planned personally by Cathy and Pamela for travelers who want the freedom to explore without the pressure of a rigid tour schedule.
Our goal is simple: create an unforgettable international experience that blends structure, flexibility, culture, food, scenery, and free time to enjoy Portugal at your own pace.

Whether you want to join every activity or simply use the trip as a comfortable way to travel internationally with a built-in support system, this experience is designed to give travelers options.
Day 1
Overnight Flight to Portugal
Depart the United States on an overnight international flight to either Lisbon or Porto depending on airfare and flight availability.
Day 2
Arrival in Portugal → Porto
Arrive in Portugal and transfer to Porto if needed. Check into the hotel and settle in after the overnight flight.
Day 3
Porto
Explore Porto, one of Europe’s most charming riverside cities known for:
Historic architecture
Colorful waterfront streets
Famous port wine
Cafés and local markets
Scenic river views
Free time available for independent exploration.
Day 4
Douro Valley Day Trip
Spend the day exploring the breathtaking Douro Valley, one of the oldest wine regions in the world.
Included:
Guided wine experience
Traditional lunch
Scenic Douro River cruise
Vineyard and countryside views
Day 5
Porto → Lisbon with Stops in Aveiro & Óbidos
Travel south toward Lisbon with scenic stops along the way.
Possible highlights include:
Aveiro’s canals and colorful boats
Medieval streets of Óbidos
Coastal scenery and local shops
Arrive in Lisbon and check into the hotel.
Days 6–8
Lisbon
Enjoy several days exploring Portugal’s vibrant capital city.
Included activities may include:
Lisbon Food & Wine Tour
Portuguese Cooking Class
Free time can be used to:
Ride Lisbon’s historic trams
Visit castles and viewpoints
Explore local neighborhoods
Shop, dine, or relax
Day 9
Sintra Day Trip
Take a full-day excursion to the fairytale town of Sintra.
Included highlights:
Pena Palace
Quinta da Regaleira
Scenic mountain views
Possible stop in Cascais
This day combines history, architecture, gardens, and coastal beauty.
Days 10–12
Algarve Coast
Travel south to Portugal’s famous Algarve region, likely staying in either Faro or Lagos.
The Algarve is known for:
Dramatic coastal cliffs
Crystal-clear beaches
Charming seaside towns
Relaxed atmosphere
Included:
Benagil Cave coastal boat excursion
Plenty of free time available for:
Beach days
Shopping
Boat tours
Restaurants and nightlife
Relaxation along the coast
Day 12
Return to Lisbon
Transfer back to Lisbon in preparation for departure.
Day 13
Flight Home
Depart Portugal and return to the United States.

To Reserve Your Spot
A nonrefundable $100 deposit is required to hold your place on the trip.
This deposit allows us to begin:

Securing reservations
Negotiating group rates
Finalizing trip logistics

Estimated payments are based on an approximate trip total and will vary slightly depending on final pricing and the month your deposit is received.

The earlier you reserve your spot, the lower the monthly payment amount will be.
Refund Policy
The initial $100 deposit is nonrefundable
Once flights and hotel accommodations are booked, those portions of the trip also become nonrefundable
This is because airfare and accommodations are secured using group pricing and advance reservations that cannot be recovered without impacting the rest of the group.
However, outside of those nonrecoverable expenses, we are happy to refund any remaining payments made if an emergency arises and you are unable to attend the trip.

Travel insurance is strongly recommended to help protect your investment in the event of:
